University of Michigan FutureTech Conference - Ann Arbor, Michigan

 

One of several roundtable panels at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business addressing the issues of electronic connectivity in the digital era. Mr. Hermann participated in a subpanel group whose topic was Digital Rights Management (DRM): Ball and Chain or Magic Carpet. Estate Planning, What’s Right for You? - Southfield, Michigan

 

A roundtable seminar intended to dispel common misconceptions about wills, trust, and other estate planning mechanisms. Safe and Wise Investing – Flint, Michigan

 

A Roundtable Seminar intended to advise local senior citizens about common investment pitfalls and scams. AARP “No Such Thing as a Free Lunch” - Detroit, Michigan

 

A premier showing of AARP’s Consumer Advisory Film “The Lure of Money” The film included stories and testimonials of local investment fraud victims several of whom were represented by Mr. Hermann. The event was funded by the Investor Protection Trust and featured representatives of the Office of Financial and Insurance Services, Securities and Exchange Commission, State bar of Michigan.

 

 

State Bar of Michigan “Who Should You Trust?”

 

An informational series presented at over 31 Senior Citizen Center locations throughout Michigan in October of 2017 advising elderly  individuals as to common financial  schemes and/or scams and estate planning mistakes. The event was sponsored by the Consumer Protection Section, Elder Law Section, Probate and Estate Planning Section and Consumer Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan.
